First of all , fukk this song and this video. The interview he did with Fab tells me everything I need to know about his mindset about all this. That "too many people holding hands" shyt is the lamest excuse he could come up with for being unable to garner any attention for his rap otherwise.

Secondly, I have a different perspective on Pac than most that I won't fully get into but he knew what time it was.

He had money on his head from several directions even going back to the DU days and that's aside from the static he was getting from cops for even just being a Shakur. He was cornered, listen to his music, he knew he wasn't going to live long and he wanted to go out standing on his square. Ain't even about giving him sympathy for the chain of events, it's about putting yourself in the shoes of someone who felt like an early death was inevitable, if not a welcome occurrence in the face of the shyt he was going through. How that mindset would influence your actions is something he wanted you to ponder if you were a fan of his music.

"What would you do, if you was me nikka? Against all odds"

Some nikkas would fold, hide, surrender, some nikkas would let they nuts hang and you could find valid reasons for all of those courses of action.

I hope this nikka get's whatever bag or attention he needs from this so he can live a long, happy, irrelevant life.

He blew it with the caption of the video :manny:

Good song & video though...Joyner Lucas would be proud :hubie:

This is what I ment by seeing the other side. Not saying Pac deserved to die but we all can agree he was reckless sometimes. His good probably out weighed the bad he did in life but it's two sides to every story. We don't have to pick a side but if you do that's fine. Its all known info so other than the disrespectful title and the person who made the song there's nothing to be out raged about. I also understand people being upset bc Pac ment a lot to people

Joyner would have handled this way better :manny:

He probably would have presented it from all angles and had some nuance to it.

And like others have said would have told the story correctly.

Sooo you giving this nikka props, for never ever peaking on your radar as a person or an artist until now? With this?

Yeah. That’s usually how it happens. You ain’t never heard of someone until you have, for whatever reason.

You ain't heard of him til now for a reason. And it ain't because you're just outta of the loop or missing some diamond in the rough.

The only time his name is ever in circulation is when he got a legend's name in his mouth in a negative light.

Nobody talks about Glasses cause he's a traditional LA gangsta rapper who's been around for 10+ years and isn't as active as he used to be.

The most notable thing he's done since this, was be on a Netflix show about racing his car.

Exactly. But go through the thread and look at the comments. And these are just internet nikkas misinterpreting what they’re seeing and getting emotional and talking tough over the keyboard. Think about the fool who just sees the video, doesn’t get it like the rest of these fools, but may be about some real action.

Give dude his credit. I’ve never listened to a single lyric of his before today and just heard of his name. Knew nothing about him. But he’s gonna get alotta attention outta this. Hope he’s ready with more music. And hope he ain’t the victim of some emotional fool out in the street.

What a brilliant concept. Ingenious. Hope it makes him a true million.

fukk all that, he wrote "2pac deserved to die!" in captions, he didnt even say that on the song. Very disrespectful. If he really about that POV "creativity" angle then let's see if he makes a "Nipsey Deserved To Die!" song from the perspective of Eric Holder

so what. he's an authentic la crip speaking from the first person perspective of a fellow la crip who's deceased.

maybe in a whole lotta them nikkas eyes tupac did deserve to die and if that's what they think they certainly have that right. what we all know in 2019 is that tupac jumped in the middle of some shyt that ultimately had nothing to do with him, ignorantly put hands on the wrong dude then let suge pump his head up afterwards, and then almost immediately paid the price on the street. if none of them dudes were famous we'd all say pac got what it seemed he was out there looking for, he was just on the losing end.

and if it's true that nipsey (RIP) spoke to that man about snitching in front of people, basically humiliating a known killer in front of a crowd, then it's sad to say that he might've got what he deserved too, cause nipsey was truly from the street and he should've known better than that.

first thing nikkas need to learn is to keep their fukkin mouths shut and stay outta shyt that don't concern them. that's one of the first rules of preservation, and one of the first lessons that should be bestowed upon all Black youngsters. the second is by all means never attempt to embarrass someone in front of others unless you're ready to go wherever that may lead, cause that can go real bad real quick.

Both of them dudes made mistakes that cost em. The bigger the man, the bigger the mistake.

Got what he deserved huh? You're a clown. Nipsey tellin a snitch to stay away does not = death sentence. Pac was a man of principle, him rollin with death row, and Orlando Andersen and them having bounties on Death row chains makes him a target as well. Again it does not equal a death sentence. I think your a young man or a troll with no principles who has no value on what life is and I wont go back and forth with you. Nipsey was a father, brother, son. Pac was a son and brother. shyt is deeper than rap and its tragic all the way around while you rooting for this clown to make a milli off glorifying this man's death. fukk outta here

no, i'm a dude who hasn't lived his life behind a computer. and who's been around enough to know that certain shyt ain't to be said or done unless you're prepared to go there. and celebrity status and fame doesn't exempt anyone from that reality

and all the rest of that shyt don't matter - the father, brother, son bullshyt. that's all of us, and it doesn't exempt any of us from the rules of the street.

you taking it personal just because you're a fan don't mean shyt to me. i'm a fan of Pac too, but not to the point of worship. it is what it is.
