Snoop had fell off when Pac got out of jail. His second album was a let down. Snoop probly is the most recognizable household name rapper ever, and ally of that is image or whatever. However Pac was way bigger than Snoop as far as music after Me Against the World. Dear Mama put Pac on a different level.

I’m really trying to understand what that Glasses Malone dude is trying to say. Are we really going to act like Me Against The World wasn’t a big deal? Like Dear Mama wasn’t a thing? I mean there’s a reason Pac even going to Death Row was a huge deal when it happened. Like it was really a big deal for real. That’s why California Love was a huge fukking song! I mean it was Pac’s intro and confirmation to Death Row and that’s probably the main reason that song and video were big as fukk. Remember all them videos from Me Against The World that didn’t have Pac in them because he was in jail? Seeing him was major when that video came out. All parties benefited.

Doggystyle sold 800k first week..so as far as the rap game, Snoop was def more popular than Pac back then (92-94)..but Pac was doing movies too..had huge hits like I Get Around and Keep Ya Head Up, it’s not like he was Lloyd Banks status

Once Me against the World came out, Pac was the biggest rapper in the planet and this was before death row... Pac was in jail and was red hot and had controversy all around him and was the baddest rapper on the planet...when he went to death row combine that with all death row projects being build around him it was a wrap .
