@JayGlazer: Seattle sends this years first round pick and a 7th rounder as well as a mid-round pick next year for Harvin. Win-win for both teams

Though the terms aren’t yet known, one term is clear: Harvin will be getting paid.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the deal won’t happen without a new contract for Harvin. He’s currently entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Harvin trade will include new contract | ProFootballTalk

Can't wait to see the numbers on this contract...

The pendulum has swung to the NFC now. AFC used to the dominant conference, but manning brady big ben all going to retirement soon. NFC is going to be brutal for the next 5 years at least

The rumor here locally is that Seattle got Minny's 2nd round pick.

A proven playmaker for a late first rounder is a good trade for both

Firts round picks are not guaranteed to be good

the more I think about it, the less I like this trade for seattle.

their receivers werent the problem late in the season. their run D was.

The receivers not being the problem doesnt mean dont add a young explosion player though.

The 25th pick guarantees nothing. Minny had to move Harvin but the Seahawks just got a lot better.

While I partially agree, the thing holding back their offense is a deep threat. You can run percy and lynch out the read option, and you have a return guy to replace Leon.

Harvin's coming off an injury and has had injury problems in the past.

Could be damaged goods.

He missed one game his rookie year, 2 games in 2010, played all of 2011, and was "injured" last year, the same time his displeasure with the Vikings and Fraser boiled over:pachaha:

I'd rather take my chances on this dude than on an unproven collegiate player.
