The thing is Glenn isn't a Trump supporter but feels adamant about defending Trump because of accusations against Russian spying.
Why does Glenn feel the need to defend Russia's actions?
For example while its clear that Trump didn't explicitly collude with Russia to interfere in the election the Mueller did confirm:
Russian intelligence took steps to interfere in the 2016 election.
Trump made efforts to obstruct the investigation
But Glenn ignores that and tries to make this thing as if Russiagate was a complete hoax.

Good point but he's not a full-on Trump shill as he does take a jab at Trump for his willingness to be involved in the Venezuelan government being removed from office.
But its Russia that supports the current government refusing to be removed as well as Glenn.....

The subtext to the post Mueller report situation is Establishment Dems lost to Trump, took their shot with Russiagate and missed so now their is blood in the water and they are getting attacked from both sides. Progressives and Republicans are coming for them because they are weaker than ever. Progressives want to turn the party to their priorities and Republicans want to make them look bad and defeat them whenever and wherever possible. It on like popcorn!
