"A little bit earlier in the show, I said something, didn't come out quite the way I wanted it to and I just wanted to apologize if it sounded different than I meant it to be said. also even if you want to use the "mistake" excuse which i don't believe.

you are a professional broadcaster paid to talk, there are certain things you can never say on television and that's one of them. you are unqualified to do your fukking job.

and obviously i don't believe that it was just a simple mistake but either way you cut it, he needs to go.
