also even if you want to use the "mistake" excuse which i don't believe.
you are a professional broadcaster paid to talk, there are certain things you can never say on television and that's one of them. you are unqualified to do your fukking job.
and obviously i don't believe that it was just a simple mistake but either way you cut it, he needs to go.
This is a really good point. Regardless of how anyone feels, this is obviously going to be offensive to some and potentially cost his employer money.
It's also not like this is something you can train on, he's a risk to do it again in the future. Imagine if they let him apologize, come back, and then he "accidentally says a racial slur" again.
I know nothing about him, but doubtful he does anything they can't easily replace. Prob not worth the risk.
