Imagine using a racial slur explained away as a “slip of the tongue” and keeping your job. Black people are truly not seen as equals and I feel the plea copping shows how much people just don’t give a shyt about us. Funny as it is there’s a sentiment that black people are always complaining, get preferential treatment and can’t get right, a disdain that presents itself in many different ways.

The plea copping man. Commical.

These the same people that went after Kyrie, Kaepernick, Kanye, etc. We (black people) are judged with different standards.
That's why I don't get too bothered when a black entertainer gets in some trouble similar to this because they don't care when it happens to us. We all know if this guy said something about LGBT or Jewish people then he would be fired on the spot. The MLB wonders why ratings are down among black viewers because most baseball spaces aren't welcoming of black people. You can look at most of baseball's Twitter and Reddit and you can see they're not that welcoming of black fans.
