There's such a thing as a transition of power, and you can't risk a civil war to keep trump out of office. At this point the US has to pretend that this doesn't affect the nation and the deep-state will continue to keep things on track.

Russia did not interfere in the vote count of the presidential election, which is the one act that would constitute an act of war and even if it did happen cooler heads would prevail because you dont want two nuclear powers pointing missiles at each other when no lives were lost.
