I'm not a big Indian food fan myself so that's prolly it, I'll try anything at least twice but those two never hit

Underrated: Haitian (honestly any Caribbean food that isn't Jamaican); pikliz, griot and fried banan with an ice cold Prestige after work

I'm biased cuz my Zoe coworkers put me on but still

Overrated: Thai, cilantro and those cellophane noodles absolutely ain't it

Everyone in Seattle raves about Ethiopian food maybe the most overrated food on earth. I've had much better home made Kenyan and other African foods even from it's region of the world.

Underrated: LEBANESE

Easily the best of all middle eastern food, only Israeli or some Persian compares...but Lebanese got it on lock fr...detroit is fukkin SPOILED with it's quality middle eastern food....a chicken shawarma with some taboulli
