:dwillhuh:

these 2 are probably top 5 in promotion in all of the bay area, for all races, for independent promotion groups. Predominately black crowd and many events thrown in San Francisco.
I attend those events, they host at venues, they don’t have a specific location, it varies. We were talking about predominantly black venues/club spots in the city. And majority of those events are in Oakland, with some in SF

I can't see her just taking the money and just walking out the door with her and the club's security in tow, only people mad are the patrons. Could be unsafe or maybe there was a mishap somewhere.
They probably tried to finesse her. She at the the Grammy so price of the brick went up. They probably told her it was a walk thru and when she arrived they was like "just do 1 song" can't blame her if that's the case. Any thing else is bad business. Ultimately she has rocnation behind her so janky promoter seems plausible.

im not going to argue with you man, saying they only do some events in SF is very disingenuous. United Tribes weekend events are almost always in San Francisco, while they have a weekday party in Oakland. Toastedlife is probably 50-60% San Francisco events over their careers. Im not going to pursue this conversation though man, you got it.

Spent the night before my wedding at that venue until the wee hours. My friend ended up getting arrested after we left and bailed out just in time to show up as one of my groomsmen since my wife was running late too lol. It's not small, but it's really not that big either. $30k is a nice stack of change to do an appearance there :whew:

glad walkthrough culture wasn't a thing in my clubbing years (every music celeb i was at a club with actually performed) i wouldn't have ever volunteered my money or time to go "see someone at the club" but my goofy ass friends definitely would've wanted to do some shyt like that and would've convinced me to come

They advertised it as a live performance on the flyer, thats why the crowd upset. They were advertising it as live performance, on the flyer, for about 2 weeks. Which would fall on Glo team to usually approve/disapprove flyers/artwork/wording if they saw it, which most artist teams are definitely on it. Going to be interesting to see how this actually plays out.

now its going to come down to who paper work was right
idk............did they really promote it as a live performance? It doesnt say there will be a performance on the flyer at all. Looks like promoter on bs :manny:
Normally, flyers have "performing live" somewhere on there. I'm not counting a pick with the mic as confirmation.
