I’ve met some Tan ass “white” girls with kinky hair and all in country ass Palatka Florida…they already know the question you gonna ask before you ask them too, and they hit you with the Quick “no” and move on to the next subject…

Sneaky, sneaky ass parents…
There’s an interview on YouTube by this dude named David Rubinstein I think. And he was interviewing the founder of 23andme. And one thing the founder said was along the lines of:

The tests we do have been eye opening. (Interviewer asks what do you mean). She goes like the question comes like what does it really mean to be an African American? Implying a lot of people were stunned to find out they have black ancestry.

My thing is this, any white American that has lineage in this country going back to the time of slavery most definitely is mixed with black blood. Slavery lasted for over 250 years. U can bet there was a lot of rapes that took place. Any white person with naturally tan complexion and dark hair with curls is mixed. Some may not even have any black features.

I believe it. You can see it in a lot of white folks…

How would a DNA test you took as an adult prove that the Black man you thought was your father isn't your biological father?
Unless that older man took a test also, your test results wouldn't prove or disprove who your father is.
Well first, no one with my last name is in my DNA line. Second, people who have a different last name are coming up as my close Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. They are not consider half-aunts and uncles, so they are not some children by my stated fathers father who he had on the side. They are related to me more directly than even half-uncle on my mothers side, as seen by the DNA points. None of them are related to anyone on my mother's side of the family, and none of them are related to anyone who has my last name.

So by simple deductive reasoning, it was easy to determine that the person who was stated to be my father is not my real father. Does not require my real father to take a DNA test, since a brother and sister of his would show my connection to him easily enough. Also, I confronted my mother about the whole thing after I got my DNA test back and searched (I was hoping to find my father or at least some of his relatives). She admitted that she did not know who my real father was.

There were also a lot of Black people that passed for White during the Jim Crow era. They inter-married with White people and had children. So people might not realize that their great grandfather was a Black man. A lot of people think that J. ZEdgar Hoover was passing for White.

Thanks. . It didn't add up initially because if your parent's are a good 25+ years older than you, it could have just been that your stand in father and his family just didn't submit DNA anywhere.
To my knowledge, nobody on either side of my family has taken a test.

Truth....especially in the South.

White people in the South that are FROM the South (multigenerational) usually have some African DNA. Whites from other parts of the country will be 99.9% Euro because they either came across the water much later or lived in an area with no/few Blacks.

My parents are 86% and 90% African respectively. Most of the fam is dark skinned except for a couple of branches on my momma side plus the mixed cousins and family born in the 70s, 80s, 90s etc. Curious how we stayed Black because a lot of folks will be like 25% Euro, 30% Euro etc.

If you come from a big family, there is always the one sibling who looks a bit different than the others. Could be height , body type, or features.

If your ears are burning reading this, then maybe you are that one brother.

*just jokes

Me ?, don't personally care to take a DNA test. My family is my family, and where I'm from is where I'm from. I know many of the culture markers in our heritage and which ethnic groups and regions they come from. All of that is mine. I don't need to know percentages.
