i like sunni islam. even before i was sure about islam.... i liked the principles of it because its similar to Ma'AT. Plus some of the ancient african kingdoms i liked were traditional islam.

Black people have been spiritual before we were anything else.
I believe all of our great kingdoms and movements have been pushed by religious people and spiritual people.
So I have no evidence or anything to say for sure that black people can empower themselves without a religious backing in our communities.
