Me personally i don't like "public" beaches. For this reason among others.
A beach to me is a nature experience. Would you go on safari with 100 other people? would you go mountain climbing with 100 other peoples.
chill in a hot spring or hike through a rain forest? it ruins the allure for me.
I once went to a dune sea with my wife, Nothing but desert as far as the eye could see. It was a awe inspiring experience.
But wouldn't have been the same of dozens of other families were tailgating and scattered across the dune.
