it's not like Hollywood is bursting with opportunities for black men not named Sam Jackson, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Jaime Foxx, Don Cheadle or Morgan Freeman....and they all have their respective lanes. He's got the BP franchise and Marvel and he's not coasting or riding on that and is still finding other work. As some of these older men start aging out, there will be more opportunity for him, but he's not wrong to keep his name out there. RDJ and Ruffalo have been in some super corny stuff that no-one clowns them for....not about to down Chadwick for working.

He was doing great movies before marvel. But you gotta keep your schedule free when on contract.
You can't do major productions that take months to films because it will get in the way of your obligations. You have to do smaller projects that wrap in like 6 weeks.

Plus he can't pull like a Tom Hanks or Christian Bale and take off/put on a bunch of weight/or look mad bummy cause his contract will state he gotta be ready to go.
Why y'all think Downey ain't did no major biopic role like Lincoln while this shyt going down with Marvel? All you gotta do is count the check, do a bullshyt ass side flick or two and stay in shape for the next filming in 12 months.

chadwick is still dope, I actually own 42, black panther, and Get on up on blu ray...he'll be fine but this movie looks generic as hell
