This is about Opportunities and Exposure not pay checks.
Chadwick can little side projects while he's with Marvel for a check because the next two Black Panther movies, Endgame and however many more Avenger are going to keep him as a bankable name in hollywood. All he really has to right now is take little side projects for the next 5 to 10 years until this is over and he will still be an A lister capable of getting major roles.
