Why? Its all bogus. Its an institute that has lost all credibility once it was clear that Oscar winners are not based on performances but rather who is more popular amongst a society that doesn't look at everyone as equal.

Its about some black guy getting shot... Something that idk is in the news everyday... But this one is different it was a cop that shot him unintentionally even tho we all think it is about race.... Its a solid movie just something we all as a society like to blow out of context.
