We need to start actually rehabilitating prisoners so they're not psychotic hardened criminals upon release. Probably have the most sadistic prisons of all developed countries... and there's nothing funny about young brothers going to jail and becoming homos against their will. Id deal out swift punishment for that if I'm the warden.

This picture breaks my heart. He is not in a position physically to do anything, he's not taking a picture with a smile on his face, his fukking eye is swollen shut! That means he was beat into submission, not willingly taking pictures on a leash to be dehumanized, and no one deserves that! Short of the worst humanity has to offer (Bernie Fine, Sandusky etc)

He was committing armed robberies at 14 years old! Do you know how bad it has to be at home for a 14 year old to have to even think about robbing someone for money?

I doubt the refrigerator was full of food at home. A 14 year old from a home full of love would not even think about having to rob or carjack someone. Think about it guys.

And the news only mentions his mom going to officials, not his dad. Yet anoher product of a broken home caused by the same system of reganomics that has done this to homes in ghettos across America.

Summer youth employment kept many a knucklehead out of trouble when I was that age. Why were most of those programs cut? And who did they directly effect the most? Very few big brother programs, no men around to protect the boys...

Yet you clowns want to blame the 18 year old for getting assaulted and not the system that even put him in a position to even consider robbery at 14 fukkING YEARS OLD!

Breh theres a big difference between juvy and juvenile prison. At least in Cali there is. The juvenile prisons are under CDCR just like the state pens. Eat the same food, wear the same clothes, got the same guards. Some of the facilities are next door to adult prisons. It could be like that out there too. True they aint in the state pen tho

After looking at his past charges and the fact he broke violation at a previous correctional facility, and this incident is gang related, my fuqqs given meter is negative double digits. Sometimes a hard head makes a soft behind, literally judging from the photos. This dude could be out robbing your grams or terrorizing your baby cousin right now. And his mom sounds 35 or like she was born in the 80s and his dad made not comment to the news, how SHOCKING...

If you have a record then of course things will be harder for you. I'm talking about the average cat in the hood that doesn't have a record. You've been reformed but doing a stint probably is what made you reform, unfortunately that F on your record is going to be another hurdle. If you don't have a felony and you're in high school or have a GED you can get a minimum wage job with no problem. And in Oakland,CA the minimum wage is $12 an hour so these cats have no excuse if they don't have a record.

you're from oakland? SMH. $12/hr when rent is $1000-1500.
