Prime Kobe next to Hakeem Olajuwon was the most unstoppable single force I've ever seen in basketball. There's nobody that could guard either one-on-one reliably. I think Steph Curry is approaching that level also if he isn't there alredy.
Dude had Jordan's post and fadeaway game down, was aggressive at attacking and added a ton of dribble moves to his arsenal: Wade's step back, Iverson's crossover, Hot Sauce's hands up ball fake, Dream Shake, etc. Pretty much any effective move there was, Kobe added it. Throw in range to 25 feet out, and teams can't foul him because he'll make the free throws. Then when he got hot it was a wrap.
Prime Kobe talent-wise was Jordan with (a lot) more moves and range. Easily the most exciting player I've seen.
