I live in the United States

this thread is PURE evil bruh :sadbron:

I mentally came in my pants when TMNT: The arcade game came out
Then when it hit the NES.. I think only the yearn for Megaman 2 and SF2 SNES was the only games that I yearned for more than that game at the time

Streets of Rage I recall playing them them all with my best friend during those early years..

Final Fight I loved so fukkin much in the arcade/consoles.

Bad Dudes/Ninja Gaiden/Renegade :ahh: /River City Ransom

But the King of all that is easily Double Dragon. With no Double Dragon there would be none of these other games (Tru Story)
Then Double Dragon 2 :whew:
Thats NES at its finest bruh. Game was different than the arcade version, but better imo. Climbing up the ladder then hitting A+B to do the spin kick :wow:

Nah man, Double Dragon II shyts on everything. Double Dragon III tho :scusthov:
Then Battletoads was like a console game that tried to look/play like an arcade game. Was also awesome. Wasn't even a hard game to me yet is known as one of the hardest games of all-time. But I swear that jet ski part was never hard to me :manny:

Thats what im sayin..Final Fight was more polished as a beat em up than Streets of Rage..not taking anything away from it at all...

Well to be honest, Final Fight was an arcade game that got ported to the SNES
Streets of Rage was a straight up console game that was very very well polished.
It was just.. a console game tho, but it did the best it could with the "Genesis" technology it was on
With that said, I expect ppls favorites to be "mostly" based on what system they had back then
And what made Final Fight take a back seat to Streets of Rage is because Final
Fight SNES was one player unlike the arcade version. Streets of rage was always 2plyers, and because of the smaller characters could fit more on screen.
I still liked FF better, but both were :noah:

Little Known Facts...

Final Fight was originally Street Fighter II, but Double Dragon blew up, capcom wanted in... Final Fight was born (Tru Story)

Final Fight: Double Impact which is on XBLA and PSN right now... well the PS3 version has DRM protection on it. Just the ps3 version
Food for thought :ohhh:
I don't like the 3D playing field. Takes it away from what made those types of games fun in the first place.
That looks more along the lines of a Dynasty Warrior type game, just with less action. Looked boring.
And Dynasty Warrior type games are too action packed for my liking. There is a sweet spot for beat'em ups.

I had every Streets of Rage game that ever came out...and I LOVE Streets of Rage 2...one of the GOAT videogane soundtracks and beat em ups...but Final Fight as a series was more polished to me and im not the only one who felt that way...I just think capcom did the shyt better...and I ALSO said as far as beat em ups...I feel Turtles in Time was better than both...it had more variety n everything...and who remembers Battletoads/Double Dragon?...that was my shyt as well..
