George Carlin and it ain't even close, he was just on a different level. He'd make you laugh til you cry and make you question your life in the same joke
he had a solid tv show for a while that was funny as well.

Everyone else is a toss between larry and bill burr

Nah Will mentions are definitely deserved. Not a standup he deserves a seat at the table for his SNL work and his improv in films. I think I read somewhere once that a lot of the scenes in Anchorman were improv.
