Yu Yu Hakusho was the first thing that came to mind. During the dark tournament they all shined hard and the gaps between everyone were small whereas the Strawhats, Bleach and Naruto all got top heavy squads for the heroes.

Akatsuki was a good one and the Veritas drop was on point as hell.

Just to add to this, the crew that went to the war in the North from Claymore post time-skip.

Tough choice between Strawhats and Akatsuki.

Strawhats have more weak links (ie. Chopper) and Akatsuki members tend to lose their resolve and turn good a little too easily (Pain, Obito, Konan, etc.).
