Of course we all know the obvious candidates (Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan), who else is in the discussion?
GOAT Kung Fu/Martial Arts actors?

Bruce Lee, i put him in his own category. So i'm excluding him ....
My top 2:
First it has to be ..... Sammo Hung. His hustle can not be f*cked with. An all round king. As a fighter, he is up there. He is a choreographer. Creative and technical. Funny as hell. I know this is about actors but you got to take into consideration his skills as a director too.
Second - Lau Kar Win & Lau Kar Leung . I can't separate these brothers. Like Sammo, also a director, choreographer as well as an actor. Just check the resume....
The next i would all put in the same bracket...
Jackie Chan. Took it mainstream, very successfully too i may add. So many styles! And funny as hell.
Alexander Fu Sheng ..... like Jakie Chan, mastered and honed the comedy, charisma and martial arts combination. He had it all.
Gordon Liu ..... you know the deal.
Chen Kuan Tai .... probably my favourite Shaw Brothers actor. Definitely the most skilled martial artist. His role in Boxer from Shantung is flawless. Not to mention executioners of shaolin, crippled avengers and Iron Monkey.

Bruce Lee sensationalised the term Kung Fu in his films..i place him as numero uno.
Sammo Hung was outshined by JC at times but became a great Iconic figure in the industry. I personally love him in films.

Also, not at all in GOAT consideration, but Jeff Speakman was underrated.

I wouldn't call stephen chow a martial arts actor, it's like if jim carrey made a kung fu movie lol.
I don't even know my favorite actor, i grew up watching a ton of hong kong movies, kung fu, action, comedy, all in cantonese so I don't even know their names. Also I watched a lot of TVB shows with kung fu, can't remember the names but I have very fond memories of them. My favorite actor is chow yung fat, he really didn't do much kung fu films, but damn that man is cool as fukk.

with jacki, sammo, there was also yuen biao who looks a lot like the guy in the hangover movie
