I agree he has a versatile voice and he can do so many flows. I said vocally singing wise he's not the best but his song writing, production and melodies are why he makes good R&B music. Like on So Far Gone, Trey, Omarion, Lloyd and them all washed him. He don't sing too well live, that's what I mean when I said vocally lacking.
Dude has like 5 tones he can use his voice in, and they all add different elements and vibes to songs.
He has his normal rapping tone
The singing tone he uses on all his singing tracks
The deep voice he uses on hooks like on Uptown and Up All Night
The raspy voice that he used on In The Morning, and the transition on Connect.
And this new screaming shyt he uses on Know Yourself and his newer shyt.
How is he not the most vocally gifted rapper of all time ?Who else can use their voice in that Many ways while making quality music?
@blackslash @Napoleon
on some Ghostface/Action Bronson shyt

I'm just talking about the sheer amount of ways he can use his voice. It's amazing to me. He's neither a great rapper or singer, but he can do both at a fairly high level.I agree he has a versatile voice and he can do so many flows. I said vocally singing wise he's not the best but his song writing, production and melodies are why he makes good R&B music. Like on So Far Gone, Trey, Omarion, Lloyd and them all washed him. Here's what happened right,Everybody knows Drake is influenced by Phonte, he's a Little Brother stan and has said Phonte is his favorite rapper. But how does 0-100 sound like Speed at all, Drake sounds nothing like Phonte so how is that some Action Bronson/Ghostface shyt?![]()

Lmao word?Here's what happened right,
I'm not a Drake fan. I don't know any songs, I've heard them, "That Phonte?" Nah Drake. "b*stard"
It was on some "The thought that counts" shyt
So on that, LB's got a famous song called Speed, Drake's got one about going from zero to a hundred, it's the best I could do
