I posted in a thread before about him where he barely won against his Republican opponent. Do not let anyone tell you voting does not matter because a few less votes for him would of meant this would go a much different way.

I think I remember this. He's a good judge, and yes voting matters.
No, the voting eligible public should do it's job and educate themselves on who is running. We can give all of the information we can and people will still not vote. We can't keep crying about getting mistreated in the courts and not show up to vote for the people that decides what happens in the courts.
Every time I see this judge he fighting against white supremacy bullshyt.

What am i arguing against? I am saying if you get a group of people complaining about the courts and especially if they were affected by it, you will find quite a few of them do not vote. The last thing we can do as black people is be passive and flippant about the political system when it is what gives us protections from the various fukkery we had to deal with. You should not have to explain to a black man or woman why not paying attention to the political process is bad for them in the short and long term.
