I could never talk myself into spending the money. So I read reviews and had some of the chinese ones for about a year. Then I got Airpods as a gift at the end of a work project a month ago and I'm mad at myself for dealing with the cheap ones for as long as I did.

I'm super paranoid about loosing one, way more than i was with the $40-$50 bluetooth earbuds tho. Because at this point, I know I can't go back

It's a good option and I think it actually uses Bluetooth 5.0 which apparently preserves the quality. I would just never rely on Bluetooth / wireless stuff as a primary for anything, I barely even trust backing up my shyt on a server vs. physical, and I'm still not sure if wireless tech has been perfected yet
