It is Satan's argument and Pacino performed this masterfully. Unfortunately it's a great deception and he fails miserably.
The best thing about it though is it revealed the outright viceral contempt Hollywood has for God. They come at him daily on these shows and worship their god all the time.
I just watched Ozark and couldn't do nothing but smh at how they slipped it in there again. The devil has done a good job of setting himself up as a counterfeit version of the Most High. He's put himself and his demons throughout society.
I now understand that the Tower of Babel wasn't actually a "Tower" at all. It was more so a tower of secret knowledge that was allowing man to put himself like he's the Most... thus the separation of different languages yet similar deities throughout different cultures. Amazingly they are all versions of the same deity but with a different tongue. All the same except one... The Most High.
God's separation of man on Earth is a requirement. Globalization, "unity" and "tolerance of culture" are all wordplay, tricks of the enemy to recreate this "tower."
