Just feels like more can go wrong from a pocket with no holster then hip or groin holstered.
And if they think they got it from the pocket and turn around u still got old boy waiting on the body to respond.
Also u gotta buy clothes with the right pockets.
One wrong Nike hoody could have your sh1t falling out.
They have all types of pocket holsters, for pants, jackets/coats, hoodies. There's everything from clips, grips, Velcro, wicking adhesive (just sticks to fabric, not skin), heavy duty magnets, to keep the holster in place depending on what type of pocket you have. You shouldnt have you gun flopping around no matter what type of holster you have or if you carry without a holster it shouldn't be loose flopping around.
Like with everything you gotta be cognizant of what your wearing. Just like with a side holster people cant be wearing pants that when they sit down their ass crack shows and a t-shirt that rides up showing their Jelly rolls. They can't have their belly hanging over their belt and their belt line wilted.
Women don't tend to wear loose fitting pants, but as a man, you shouldn't be wearing 46 inch waist pants where someone can slip their hands in your pocket while your standing in line or walking to the subway.
When I first decided to carry in my pocket, I just carried a pistol unloaded, but primed, I'd carry it all around my house and yard, sitting on the couch, laying on the bed, doing shyt, even took naps with it a few times. Over the course of a month or two at the end of the day/night I'd pull the trigger and sure enough it would dry fire indicating that nothing I did pulled the trigger. I always have one chambered. Ive dropped them a few times, fortunately, it's never discharged due to a drop. I also carry every single day though (keep one in the car at all times-rotate it out depending on weather/climate/crime/social feel). There's been days I never even hugged my lady, but held a gun....
I'm not saying everyone should pocket carry, but it's an acceptable and safe practice, well have our preferred and not preferred (I can't stand/wont appendix). I'd do cross body before appendix, and that's God awful.
