don't most people say the opposite, because of how far you typically are from a TV?

anything sub-native resolution is very noticeable to me, and I have my PC hooked up to a 45" HDTV

the bigger the screen, the more the resolution disparity shows like you said. that's what I'm saying. Even in the screenshots, you notice the blurrier PS3 image vs the PS4 one.

It's not enough for me to warrant a purchase since I already beat the game, but if I didn't, I'd cop. Who wouldn't want the better version of a game they haven't played or want to replay.

yeah, but it's gonna be very noticeable on a computer monitor because of how close people usually are. I'm sure we've all see these (stupid) charts:

to be clear, I don't really agree with that chart. I think it probably refers to TV/movie content (that's gonna be compressed anyway), and not video games. but I do think the difference will be very noticeable on a computer monitor because people are gonna be close enough to it to 'see the pixels'

I can see that, but the "blur" will show more on a bigger TV with the rez differences as well.
