Been playing this again on Give me God of War difficulty, game is just amazing. At level 7 with upgraded armor/abilities and enemies on this difficulty, the combat is just freaking intense and epic. Just need to finish Muspelheim and kill Sigrun to personally finish my GMGOW run.

How is it anticlimactic? Kratos and Balder beat the shyt out of each other but my man wasn’t seeing Kratos when he lost his invincibility.

Kratos didn’t fight Zeus, Hercules or a lot other gods in the first game.

I agree. They had plenty of time to make a good final story boss and they made it kind of weak. It seems like they somewhat recognized it with the Valkyries. Which makes me wonder why they didn't just include them in the main game instead of making them optional.

Folks just never satisfied.
I loved the way they set this shyt up for potential beefs in the future games.

The lore in this is deep. Cats just wanna rush through to say they beat it without reading or exploring.
