The next game is going to be the war of the pantheons
With PS5 technology it can't be more of the same it's time to show how the different pantheons interact with each other and have a showcase game for the PS5 later in the gen (2026-2027)
I predict a May 2026 release for GOW3 which will be ridiculous with a studio like Santa Monica working with the PS5 compared to the shytty ps4
It has to be otherwise they will be doing GOW for the next 20 years

Isn't the original game part of the PS Collection? I been kinda lukewarm on playing this because I played God of War (2005) and God of War 2 way back when and I wasn't really into it.

Are we even sure the next game goes on Ps5? The reason this is now a duology is because they don't want to do another norse game so they can pack everything into this one. I bet that they will let this breathe and we don't see Kratos again for nearly a decade. God of War 2018 is the gift and the curse. An utterly amazing game but it raised the bar so high. To take on a new pantheon so soon, a reset of sorts is needed.

I get the feeling the story of this isn't too complex. I'm maybe a third of the way into the previous game watched the trailer for this sequel and completely understood it.
