TLOU:R was a good one, but these others canSony out here with thi shyttiest most "cash grab" remasters.
Everyone else adds new features and/or a full graphic overhaul.
Sony just throws these shyts on a PS4 disc, remove features then sell you the same shyt you already paid for
Same shyt with PSnow overcharge you for the shyt you already own, and give you a worse experience.
It all makes sense seeing how broke Sony is, but its totaly contradictory to the "for the gamers" narrative you Stans like to spin.
As far as I can see, Sony is worse than EA and Ubi with this cash grab shyt.
TLOU:R was a good one, but these others can
This latest one with GOW is pathetic. I called it when they announced it. And that Uncharted Collection dropping without multiplayer is embarrassing. But I'm sure I'll see people on my friend's list with it when it drops.
The Remaster included the DLC. And since the game came out so late in the PS3's cycle many new PS4 owners who never had a PS3 didn't get the chance to play the masterpiece.TLOU is a great game. The remaster wasnt.
It was just as barebones as GOW.
Like I said everybody else adds stuff and makes significant changes beyond framerate and resolution. TLOUR is almost indistinguishable from the original. I think they said they added new eyebrows or something
And on top of that they added a bunch of pay to win Microtransactions to the multiplayer.
If this was EA or Ubi doing stuff like this people would be up in arms, but Sony gets a pass![]()
So what? The Remaster included the DLC. And since the game came out so late in the PS3's cycle many new PS4 owners who never had a PS3 didn't get the chance to play the masterpiece.
The port was done in less than a year and was based on a game designed for the PS3, which has a completely different architecture from PS4. So it took a lot of work just to get the game running as is. Expecting them to make it look much better would have been unrealistic. They were barely able to make it run at 60FPS. And keep in mind we are talking about Naughty Dog here, arguably the best studio in the world when it comes to graphics and animation. So what?
Its still as bare bones as remasters get, and they still added Microtransactions.
How they gone put Microtransactions in a remaster? All that should have been free.
EVERY remaster could say the same thing, yet they all were still able to add new content and/or a full graphics overhaulThe port was done in less than a year and was a game designed for the PS3, which has a completely different architecture from PS4. That's the line they sold you at the time, but that's just PR and justification for putting out the remaster as barebones as it is.They were barely able to make it run at 60FPS. And keep in mind we are talking about Naughty Dog here, arguably the best studio in the world when it comes to graphics and animation.

Seriously respond to Meach about a Sony game brehs. The port was done in less than a year and was based on a game designed for the PS3, which has a completely different architecture from PS4. You can play with all of the items they put in there except for the dances/gestures/executions. You just couldn't customize the abilities/guns to whatever class you wanted without copping. Those didn't make or break the multiplayer anyway. So what?
Its still as bare bones as remasters get, and they still added Microtransactions.

The game doesn't run at 60fps without a hit in the lighting system. They barely got it running at 60fps. And Naughty Dog is one of the best. UC4 looks a generation ahead of the competition.EVERY remaster could say the same thing, yet they all were still able to add new content and/or a full graphics overhaul

This idea that naughty dog is just some godly studio above the lies, cash grabs, and fukkery of everyone else is just not true. They lie and cash grab with the best of em![]()
lmao i know. Him and that PS4 clown are the Fox News of the gaming forum.Seriously respond to Meach about a Sony game brehs.

This is the list of improvments for TLOU Remastered but it's "nearly indistinguishable."
- 1080p/60 FPS in single player and multiplayer.
- Texture maps are 4x more detailed. Shadow maps 2x.
- Higher resolution particle effects.
- Occlusion mapping on decals.
- No texture streaming.
- Longer draw distances, better LOD
- Expanded audio menu options.
- Possibility to lock frame rate at 30 FPS.
- Possibility to swap trigger and thumbsticks controls.
- DualShock 4 touch pad, light bar and speaker supported.
- Cinematics with commentary by Neil Druckmann, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.
Again plenty of remasters made it to 60fps with more improvements in both content and graphics. They only hyped up the difficulty and importance of 60fps cause that was the only upgrade to the game. The game doesn't run at 60fps without a hit in the lighting system. They barely got it running at 60fps. And Naughty Dog is one of the best. UC4 looks a generation ahead of the competition.
