The Norse saga is so much more popular is doesn't make any sense not to start there especially when any new show can be cancelled after the first season. Should come out with their best first. and then if it proves successful, they can do a prequel series set in greece.
Greece saga would require a bigger budget anyway, better to wait and see if you got a hit first anyway.

It wasn't unpopular but it wasn't nearly as popular is the PS4 series.

God of War ps4 sold like 3 times as much as all the preceding games if i recall correctly.

God War 1-3 = Og Power rangers Series in terms of nostalgia and popularity

God of War ps4 = Avengers movie in terms of popularity
