I'm confused brehs. Is what Godfather said about the Rock supposed to be a bad thing? I thought that would be fairly common back then? Especially the way the backstage was in that era :dwillhuh:

To Captain Save A Rock, it's a blasphemous criminal offense to say anything remotely critical of The Rock.

GF seems like a good dude. Saw a shoot interview where he said he owns a few bars/clubs in Vegas so he isn't hard up for work like the other vets are. He said he comes back when they need him to but he isn't calling then up begging like some folks do.

I have to agree though... he was a horrible wrestler.

the Rock says the Godfather is his homie. Him, me, and Mark Henry rode together when the Rock was still a rookie. He gave the Rock advice all the time like a vet should.

Plus we always got discounts on the hoes when we were with him.

Why not believe everyone else? This story is prevalent in 2012. 15 fukking years later:laugh: How gullible does one have to be? It's like that kid who takes Kevin Nash's word as the gospel. It's absurd. And Godfather can read Vince's mind..we ALL KNOW the Rock was put into the Nation to succeed after a face run that didn't add up. That's nothing new.

Yeah we shouldnt be taking Kevin Nash's word. We should be listening to you since you are known to be so impartial when it comes to Rock :heh:

Godfather must've been one cool ass dude in the locker room.

I'm still laughing at the roundtable discussion about the Attitude era with JR saying Godfather volunteered to sit in on a meeting with JR & Ahmed to protect JR (after the whole Goldust giving Ahmed mouth to mouth) :pachaha:

gf or Kama = kick any man's ass

After bad news is known as being one of the legit authentic bruisers of past wwf locker rooms.

Also, he was cool wit Simmons, the first black nwa world champion, and taker as well.

So I can see him and Ron working rocky up into his drawing run as the rock.
Both were proven draws, and good guys to learn from.

Are you guys really that dense? :belip:

Rookies are paired with veterans all the time to help them learn the ropes. And given how toxic the lockeroom was at that point it'd make sense to protect a huge investment by keeping bad influences out of their ears. You all believe tons of other trash but reject an actually normal interview.
