That’s why I appreciate people like Sinbad. Never had to use that word and was very successful. I can be mad about the whole thing but why? This conversation should’ve been had years ago
cause nobody wants to have the conversation unless they're against it. pandora's box has been opened and any entertainers who use it a crazy amount know and either hold their nose and do it anyway or are young/ignorant and don't care or see it that way
you do get moments where rappers will admit they don't like their majority white audiences at concerts going word for word
I've also seen at least a couple where a rapper will stop a show and request it to not be said or try to jokingly check someone they bring up on stage
and it goes beyond just "nikka". there's a fine line between cultural humor and an obvious play up into minstrel show territory. a lot of youtube comedians will cross it in my opinion when they parody shows or characters and title it "hood insert show*".
a lot of younger black entertainers probably aren't as aware of the history behind why certain behaviors get them more eyes just that it works. and don't get me wrong ignorance does sell regardless of race, there are plenty of young white famous streamers on that type of time too. it's just there is more of an allure to black racialized ignorance that a lot of white people gravitate to

Godfrey does a clear break down about Black comedy history that addresses what you just said to the point that your 2nd response exposes that you still didn't watch the video. And you talking about "This aint shyt to be stressed over".......if you go to the Youtube page you can clearly see that Godfrey and Willie D are talking about numerous different things and that the video posted is just one specific topic among a bunch of different topics. They aren't stressing anything. It's just one long conversation broken down into different videos.
