kevin put in work in marketing himself social media and appealed to various audiences he paid his dues like everyone else. i belive there is room for Godfrey but even eddie murphy stated that hollywood has a tendency to have one major black comic in the mainstream one at a time. godfrey deserve to be on the spotlight in mainstream like kevin but cant knock kevin and pit one against the other
