Well, yeah. If you leave off a major part of the quote that gives context, that's dishonest and manipulative as fukk.

From OP's video, the thing I took away from Godfrey was not that he's agreeing with all of Farrakhan's beliefs and comments.

It may surprise you to learn that you CAN defend someone while NOT AGREEING with them, or cosigning their views.

No it a was not dishonest or manipulative.

Farrakhan literally said “You are not a Jew … you are Satan, and it is my job now to pull the cover off of Satan so that every Muslim — when he sees Satan — picks up a stone, as we do in Mecca.”

Then after that he said…

“When you know who Satan is, you don’t have to kill him. No. The stone of truth, that is what you have to throw.”

The “truth” he was talking about is Jews really being a devil race of Khazars. Farrakhan knew exactly what he doing with that “throw a rock like they do in Mecca” shyt.

It was an anti-semitic hateful statement whether it literal or metaphorical. That’s why it’s imbecilic to suggest he’s owed an apology for being “taken out of context.”

It’s like saying “hang the Black people with a rope.”

Then going a “ I meant a rope of truth that they are inferior” and asking a Black person to apologize for taking them out of context. It’s stupid

What would be the proper course of action here? Vlad should have apologized for misrepresenting Farrakhan...and he could have continued to attack and criticize Farrakhan's other points and views. That would be fine.
But all Godfrey was saying was...you have to apologize for that ONE thing because it was wrong.

And instead of being man enough to admit that mistake, Vlad decided to play some victim of bullying.

Vlad is right here. Farrakhan old goofy ass said some insulting anti-semitic shyt. Vlad quoted him and got some details wrong but it was still an anti-semitic bigoted comment, which Farrakhan has a lengthy history of.

Vlad is jewish and has every right to not rock with what Farrakhan said. He edited out the part of the clip where he misquoted Farrakhan

Vlad was saying that Farrakhan was advocating the tossing of actual stones.

So, like I pointed out earlier -- Vlad could have apologized because Farrakhan was not calling for physical thrones and violence. AND THEN he could have attacked Farrakhan's views.
