This ain't an arguement b, this a discussion. We all Nas fans here. No one is saying Life is Good was shyt. And you treating it as we talking about something like I Am being better than Life is good.

So back to the discussion, tell me any songs on LIG that goes hard as Made you Look? Tell me a song from LIG as chill as Heaven? Tell me a song from LIG that lets you ride with as much as Book of Rhymes? Tell me a song that's as uplifting as I Can? Tell me me a song thats as emotional as Dance?

Gods Son is much more diverse, hits harder, more replabable and simply better.

It ain't been a month since LIG came out, give it at least a few months and see whether it still has the same affect. Gods Son has stood the test of time.

When did I imply all of that...I said Gods Son not fukkin with LIG cause it aint.

[Large Professor]"Yo what we talkin bout nikkas...WHAT WE TALKIN BOUT nikkaS!?!?! This is Life Is Good [/Large Professor]

Take off Summer On Smash (which a lot of people like) and u still got 18 tracks off piff. 18...If this was the 90's and Nas added a couple of skits this could have been a double LP

Gods son aint even top 5 in GOAT's discography which is further proof that nas is :king:

Illmatic
IWW
Lost Tapes
Life Is Good
Stillmatic

*honorable mention*

Hey Nas? The Cross? shytty Em beat. Thugz Mansion? How many of ya'll still listen to this record? Be honest

2nd half of LIG, beginning with You Wouldnt Understand and Ending with Trust >>>Gods Son. Everything else is just a bonus...

God Son.

Just a personal record when was very much in the spotlight. Had a couple of undeniable classic Nas records on there too (Made You Look, Get Down). It was a record that came out during a very important era in dude's career and was genuinely noticed by everyone
Life is Good is dope too, but only time will tell if its a classic and if it will get the recognition it deserves.

Godson is a really good album. It is actually one of NAS all around best commercially and for his loyal fans who want the lyrical type stuff. Just the time it came out and impact it made > LIG so far but that remains to be seen because LIG has a lot of potential.

For me, I agree with another poster that nothing on LIG can compare to "Make You Look". Like Godson, there are hardly any "bad" songs (maybe one depending on taste) on LIG, but Godsons best > LIG best. My personal favorites from Godson are:

Get down
Made you look
Last reall nikka alive
Book of rhymes
Mastermind

At the end of the day most songs on Godson are basically equal to or better than anything on LIG. For example,

Made you look> Loco-motvie
I Can=Daughters.
Stay=Heaven

God son was all around a more creative, diverse, realer album.

When I first heard LIG I wasn't to impressed but it grew on me and I started to rate it abovie God's Son. However after hearing most of the songs 15 or more times, I would say God's Son still stands the test of time and edges out LIG.
I do think they are similar albums for Nas, because they are both very personal. A good comparison overall and the most similar to LIG out of all the nas albums.

LIG but.... Get Down was one of the GOAT Nas tracks, the momentum just gets progressively lower on God Son after that track
