He may have had a life insurance plan..... he was an attorney by trade so there was probably some type of compensation in place in case of sudden death.... but its probably not enough.... with 4 kids in new york as a single parent thats used to a certain lifestyle...

I will never understand people not getting life insurance. As soon as I got married I got an extra policy evan though my job already had one. Term life insurance doesn't even cost that much.
