I'm not trying to fool anybody. I just want a good quality PC that allows me to do the things I need to do, like run certain software with no problems (Pro Tools, etc.) and render videos at a fast speed. The PC I'm currently using takes damn near half the day to render a 3GB video. The price isn't for JUST the PC itself. The price also includes a monitor, and operating system (Windows 10).

At the Goodwill stores here in Houston, you can get a full computer (monitor, keyboard, tower) for less than $100. You can replace the processor, video card, and ram and still come out under $500. You don't need an i7/GTX 1080 if all you are trying to do is music production.
