I shave myself. Just go to the barber for beard trims every few months. I use a Gillette hydro blade with aloe vera Gillette shaving cream. I finish with a Wahl head shaver to get any access and create that smoothness. :whew:

Don't...i repeat DON'T shave against the grain or clean up your neckline with a blade. Razer bumb city.

Otherwise welcome to the club. :blessed:

If you working with a Stephen A and not a Sherman Hemsley just get super low cuts like late era Kobe.
That will make your eventual transition to real baldness more palpable as you and those around you will kinda be use to the look by then :yeshrug:

Don't fight it. Grow your beard out, shave your head. You will not regret it.

I shave it myself, just as a part of me shaving my face. I shave it about every 2.5 days.

I use a safety razor which honestly is a learning curve, but gets the cleanest bald by far. Bevel is by far the best. I use this:

I don't do any balms or anything, and use kiss my face shaving soap/cream. And cocobutter afterward for moisturizing the scalp. Basically apply the cream like you do your neck or face, shave up your neck, be careful behind your ears and at curves, and don't dig in. Don't be scared to go over twice, like wipe your head off and feel around for missed spots.

Edit: and don't cheap out on razor blades. I notice the difference.

I'm slowly going bald and this is what I need.

Thanks breh

Finasteride. See if you can tolerate it. If you can, wait before you add Minoxidil. Finasteride will help keep what you have and can fill in thinning spots. For slick bald areas Finasteride alone probably won’t be enough. That’s when you decide if you want to try minoxidil or a hair transplant. Finasteride is going to be mandatory to keeping what you have though. Even with the transplant, if you don’t use Finasteride you’ll lose what’s not transplanted.

Don't listen to all these fraud posts about how man's took vitamins and their hair came back... if its as bad as u say it is now the only thing that will help is finastride.

You gonna have to take it for life though
