The Ville has change since I moved out. I noticed a lot new construction. I would never move back, but it make me what I'm today.
yo I lived over there for like 5yrs, in the co-ops right on rockaway and hegamen...across from that junior hs...it was mad weird, the co-op block was cool, but once u crossed the street off the property, shyt got real...my fam had a sweet spot too, we had 3 nice bedrooms and a 2 bathroom spot with a terrace..i was in like jhs back then so I didn;t know exactly how real it was, being that it was all i been around..after a while my mom
...then got on some
and we packed up and got the fuk outta there. But i def remember those walks from the rockaway ave stop...it was like a 5 or 6 long ass blocks walk to my house, shyt felt like Boyz-n-the hood when the kids found the dec body...Brownsville is where I first started fukin with the chicken spot and chinese food spot.I ain't never chilled out there since I moved away in like 1999.

they have the 3 and the L train.
queens also..but it don't have that Brooklyn feel...ENY and Brownsville are better in general from what they used to be...but you still can get caught slipping if you on some random shyt and don't know anybody...as a kid in the 90's tho
Brooklyn was sooo grimey...crack done had everybody fukked up

the fights after school
wack ass 46th precinct. I can remember many a day at my elementary school where some shyt would go down and the principal would always tell us "i you have a problem, tell a police officer. The 46th precinct is on their job and doing everything they can to protect you."
when they'd hear that shyt over the PA system
in anybodys face
This has had me confused for years and it's still up.
