Never tried it but I'm intrigued to. Don't know if I would try Mexico, and I speak Spanish, or anywhere international first. Feel better staying within the country if I plan on traveling by myself. Wonder what cities are good for solo trips. Guess it depends on what you make of it.

You will have a great time.

Drink up
Eat up
And just relax

Just came from Cancun, was with the Bros so it's a little different. a nikka ate slept and drank the whole time. I need that break. Did some excursions of course and hit a strip club(some fire broads in there and they all DTF if that's your thing)

been all over the world primarily solo (brazil, japan, france, cameroon, etc.)

simple rules to abide by:
- plan out what you want to do daily.
- don't get too drunk, ever. wolves lurking.
- hop on tinder/bumble like a week or two before so you have women you get vet/link up with once you get there
- don't be afraid to meet people. if you grew up in a city, you should be smart enough to size people up quickly to see if they're trying to finesse.

have fun. solo travel is the wave if you're proactive and confident. otherwise, you're going to have a bad time. i travel a lot on business anyway as well so it's second-nature now.

Vast majority of my trips are solo. You're totally free of doing whatever you want, eating where you want, changing plans at the last minute, easier to "go with the flow" and improvise. I like museums and cultural stuff too so I can take my time without thinking about the other person waiting for me, I like walking and kinf of getting lost in the city and I can do so without someone talking about how they tired or whatever. So yeah, it's cool. To travel with friends I guess it's better if the aim of the trip is the beach/party thing, but if it's to take some time off solo is cool.

Also anyway you can end up meeting people and whatnot, couple weeks ago I was in Madrid and used the coachsurfing app an went to a get-together with other travellers/locals, just to have a chat and chill out, so there's always that possibility too. I usually try to do some kind of tour (usually street art tour), that's also a good way to meet some people if one evening you want to grab some drinks with other people.
