yes i went to mexico alone but i skipped the resort and lived like a local which i wouldn’t advise unless you’re street savvy bc there’s a turf war going on and a lot of overall fukkery in the QR region.

I got 2 weeks off from work soon, all my people are working so gonna have to go solo.

taking a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean solo for my 30th birthday in Feb.
it's my second cruise but my first time ever vacationing alone, and i honestly cant wait. i went on my first cruise this year with a chick, and while it was cool, i felt beholden to her in a lot of ways. This time i want to relax and be by myself for my 30th.

Yep, all my travels are solo. You go at your own pace.
I was in Europe end of summer solo. Fun times.

That’s why travelling alone is great. When I was in Lagos in summer I met like 15 different women in ten days.
Especially with smart phones, gps and Uber it’s never been easier and safer to go around the world

The crazy part is i had a ton of chicks eyeing me down during my first cruise because i was one the only Breh on the Royal Caribbean ship i was on. i think all told, i saw less than 10 black folks on the ship. And the majority of them were women from another country. Sooooo many women struck up conversations with me but i couldnt take advantage because i brought sand to the beach so to speak.
Really excited to just be by myself and relax for a change

How are cruises breh? Never been on one
AMAZING!!! Before i went on one, i kind of looked down on them thinking they were "basic," but afterwards, i see why people love them.
1. EVERYTHING is on the ship. Shopping, restaurants with all the best food, entertainment, nightclubs, women, arcade, movie theaters. I had access to food and booze almost 24/7.
2. You get to visit different locations whenever you dock into port. Super cheap shopping, and cool places to explore. I went snorkeling in Belize, rode through the jungle on an ATV in Grand Cayman, Visited Mayan ruins in Cozumel, and more. Even if i didnt feel like getting off the ship, i still had shyt to do.
3. The food is top notch. And you are waited on hand and foot. Plus, theres so many activities that its impossible to get bored.
I highly recommend it
