I do it all the time. I hit up lounges, bars and even when I'm feeling myself and want to treat myself, I take my ass to a nice restaurant and order a nice steak. I go out with my peoples too but if you have a nice personality, you'll have no problem meeting new people just like yourself. Its fun.

Going out by yourself kinda forces your hand to talk to new people an make new friends. If you go out with a group that's fine, but you may only hang out with and talk to each other all night.

Naw, I don't drink to get faded. Just enough to let my gift of gab come out. I have more fun that way than to get too faded. I mean as long as you know what you're doing and know your limits you'll be good. Plus, I have always been good at meeting new people.

To answer OPs question, yes I have I went to a jazz concert by myself, I think I mentioned it on here actually, went to see Barry Harris, ended up meeting a doctor from Australia, we hit the bars after, was cool af he gave me his card told me to hit him up if I ever came to Australia.

I think going out alone is cool, sometimes I don't want to be obligated to be around a group of people, and I don't really need them when it comes to doing something I like. If you're not fine being alone with yourself then you're not happy with the person that you are

I even travel by myself. Don't get me wrong, I love going places with friends but in the event that they aren't around if I have my music I'm straight. Good way to meet people.

Last time I went to my Miami my homegirl couldn't come out until the next day. I've always wanted to go to LIV (South Beach) on a Sunday so I just said "fukk it" and went by myself. Ended up chillin' with some French Arab-lookin' singer. Girls were going up to him (guessing they were from France too) and were givin' me the evil eye. Had to be like I don't even know this guy like that.

went to a concert couple months ago solo... the venue was small and had a 2nd level. so i got there early before the show and im just gonna chill in the corner and be on my phone listening to music and post on the coli

then this chick comes up to me and asks for a ticket... then i say i only got one... then she starts asking me where im from and then bam she won't leave me alone. was a nice convo though, you do meet folk by yourself even when you are just minding your business

Did this for the first time in my life last night... stayed til the lights came on and had more fun than I did the past 10 times going out Nobody to babysit while their drunk or have to worry about playing the DD Anyone else try this before?

well when im not out with boy i would roll solo and its just a fun and at times can be more rewarding too

its a pain if u bring somebody who gets wasted or will cock block or too damn scared to approach a female and all those things can mess up ur whole night

so i got to the point if it aint my boy aka my best friend fukk THE REST OF YALL im riding SOLO

when i did that it was chilled just get me a cranberry and vodka sit by the bar chill and watch for somebody i wanna approach

approach em get the digits leave with them the same night at times
get multiple digits that night
same sex that night
etc....

its not as bad people make it if you got good people skills and are laid back its actually quite fun and u can make it a night to remember

the most important though is if you are going out just to meet a broad u tend to get disappointed cuz ur gonna end up wanting too bad or try to hard

i always would approach going out as i wanna have a few drinks not get drunk and dance with a few females and thats it nothing more

if more happens even better if u have that mindset you wont feel like it was a waste cuz

1. you will have a few drinks
2. u will dance with a female too

those 2 things are pretty much automatic
