I'm going for the first time and have most of my trip setup with a tour company but I was curious as far as any small details I may need to know to make it the best experience possible.

Beware Egypt tour company
They wants American dollars not Egyptian pound
The food is good and cheap
My hotel was next to pyramid giza.
Recommend only 1 or 2 days in Giza
Try to go Alexandria or Luxor

Also uber works in Cairo and alexandria, don't bother hailing a random cab they will just nag you the entire journey for a higher fare. The touts at the pyramids are relentless and will do all they can to get you to ride a horse or camel. These fukkers will dead ass follow you for 20 minutes if they know you're a foreigner. Just ignore them or if you actually wanna ride agree the price upfront and don't tip more than 50 LE.

Naw ELA. just started taking kids on international field trips basically. Now we go on one every year. Kind of went to Egypt by mistake. The trip was to Senegal but they started protesting like 3 weeks before we were set to go. So we switched to Egypt.

I started the adult thing because I see other companies doing it, so I can too. Egypt was easy because the tour guide took care of everything , so people that haven't traveled love that

open door for ppl.. and ask for a tip.. u will make some money ... because they will open doors for u and request tips...reverse the hustle..

download a currency app and translator...
