Man, the main reason we are going is to surprise my 11 yr old son. He still don't know where we are going. Anthony Edwards is his favorite player and I know how players like to sit out random games, plus Ant got all them damn technicals where if he gets one, he is suspended for the next game. Glad he didn't pick one up Friday vs New Orleans
I remember my first nba game

Watched A.I drop a smooth 40 versus the jazz

He was barely even trying
my first game ever was AI's rookie season at the UC in Chicago, he dropped 40 :wow:

got tickets for my birthday, will never forget it

How outrageous are the prices of the concessions?

Last time I went to a professional sporting event was 2012 when the Jets played the Rams in St. Louis. I don't even think I ate anything at that game.

If I get there early enough, can I get some shots off on the court?
More of a football fan but enjoy the basketball experience better when going to games (maybe because I have less invested interest and I just be there chilling) but seems like commercial breaks dont bother as much, games are quicker, in AC, if I go with a chick she more likely to understand basketball and I dont have to deal with questions.

The concessions gonna hit, especially the drinks, atleast they do down here. Was supposed to catch Curry tomorrow also but heard he had a back injury scare, he practiced today but not sure if he playing tomorrow. Definitely wanted to catch him live and he only come out here once a year, sucks.

nikkas in here ain't been to a game in over 10 years? Y'all live in bumble fukk?:dahell:

Going to game can take up your whole afternoon depending on where you live. Also pricey, too.

Travel, parking, concessions, etc.

And the games got too much involvement for my liking. I went to a Ravens vs Steelers game 2 years ago at M&T and all the crowd commands got me annoyed.

“Stand up and make noise!”
“Shout DEFENSE! DEFENSE”

I’m like get outta here, I just want to watch the game. The TV timeouts are also less bearable when you watch live.

I prefer pro soccer games. Went to Manchester United and Tottenham Spurs last October and that’s much better to watch live.

MLB is better than football and bball in my opinion as it’s more relaxed. Haven’t been to an NBA game only D1 Basketball but I imagine the experience is similar.

Tennis is also great to watch live, as is hockey.

Enjoy the game breh. Live games are great experiences

. NBA /NFL games are good for the youngins cuz of the nonstop action.

MLB games are slow but it’s a good vibe for adults iykyk.

I go to a lot of games . Living in the Nj/NYC area, all you need to do is get on the train and you good. :win: plus as others said eat before you go. Plenty of fast food spots near the arena/stadium.

Nets/Yankees/Liberty tickets are pretty cheap, if you pick the right matchups. The key is to pick matchups against small markets with good young stars.

Giants are another story. I hate Metlife stadium. It’s hard getting out of there (traffic)I always get stuck there. Plus NFL tickets are pretty expensive, despite us not being very good lately.

Yea the courts are much smaller live than on TV that goes for every sport...NBA is the best of the leagues to watch in person non stop action for the most part.

To me NFL is the worst because of the fans and because theres so many stoppages...

other than about NBA live is the movement is so much more faster live than it looks like on TV...which makes some of the degree of difficulty of some made shots even more impressive in person...
