because it's all star weekend, the entire area will be flooded with tourists from all over the place. just like anywhere else, the level of women is based on the area you find them in, the natives who live downtown, near the Quarters can range from ratchet to classy, but most of them are obnoxious and loud.

For those who've already been there, what's the better spot? Bourbon Street or French Quarter?

Best bars? Lounges? Resteraunts?

just be careful around nikkas with dreadlocks, you can pretty much tell who's up to no good or not by looking at their faces.

be ready to fight if a nikka comes up to you and asks you "what time it is" or "you got a joe(cigarette)", don't let nikkas get close enough to walk up on you although that's quite tough when you're in the French Quarter which is jam packed with people.

just be aware. keep your head on a swivel, you don't have to be paranoid, just understand that nikkas are lurking and they love to victimize tourists, so don't get too drunk.

try to stay in the green

you'll have fun, but the local girls can be very hostile to out-of-towners sometimes, especially if they think you're "stuck-up".

don't let the locals bring you to clubs that aren't in the french quarter unless you're prepared for whatever to go down.

born and raised in New Orleans, not fear trolling, I just wan't you to understand that it's a VERY fun place to come and have fun, but there are a lot of wolves lurking the street and they prey on people who don't have their guards up.

I'm sure you guys will be doing a lot of walking, but at night, try to catch a cab if possible just to be on the safe side.

Wrestlemania will bring out a LOT of people, so it may be safe to travel by foot at night because of all the people that'll be out walking, but be careful.

yes, there's a nice upscale mall called the Canal Place. has a built in Saks 5th etc..

check out Café du Monde also while you're in the french quarter!

there's so much good food in the immediate area that you literally can't go wrong, that's one of the highlights of the city, the food.

A lot of poverty in Louisiana, top 5 poorest States in the US for like that last 20 years. New Orleans is poor, just imagine the other cities in Louisiana with no tourist money flows. Goons coming from all over the state to the NO to try and come up. We know ya'll tourist come with a lot money. No where is really safe, wolves going to be right in the mix waiting. I'd say taking it on in around 230-3am. Just try not to be too vulnerable or weak looking. Vultures and wolves in Louisiana ready to take a chance for some money. A lot of Louisiana goons ain't leaving without making some money. We do the same thing to Texas. Conveys of goons head to Htown and Dallas events to make and come up and come right back.

What are some dope clubs/bars/lounges, or are those no-no's for nikkas not about that scuffle life?

I'm 6'1, 220 pounds but that don't mean I'm okay getting into fights with ig'nant ass people. We're also rolling with someone else who is very timid and reserved.
