I hate these threads. White New York on a black forum every time. Smh

What would he do in Crown Heights or Bed Stuy outside of get a beef patty? He don't got folks out there and aint like the parades are happening. If he knew people, I'd say go to some of the basement parties but I doubt thats his scene. Plus thats a trip for a person staying in Financial District.

Whenever I visit my sis, my favorite food spot is Yatenga on Adam Clayton between 133 & 134. Very small and cozy, about 90 percent of the clientele is Black and local to Harlem. And the food is great, always have a good time over there. Feels like a Black Harlem version of Cheers.

And their weekend brunch is definitely nice.
i dont know how the fukk i didnt know about that spot and i freequent all the Harlem Hot spots. Thank you

How hard is it to get from Manhattan to Brooklyn?

Its not but beware of the travel time in each direction if you take the subway. Also be aware that if you are out late and plan to take the subway that service to certain lines can get real funky and take you double the time to get back to the hotel.

^Yes the lines are BASURA on late night/weekend schedules.

I fukk with Rin, Red Rooster and Sylvia's

Other than that you should really just explore SoHo during the day.

PDT is a cool spot I went to once (no :mjpls:)

@Azul or someone else already posted the Everyday People listing.

There's Cove Lounge and Minton's if you're in Harlem and want to stop by a bar.

Honestly, its NYC fam...its ultimately up to you based on your hobbies, preferences and budget :heh:.

Most of the stuff on his list is not for us tbh :mjpls:

I fukks with Le Bain tho. Kanye was partying on the rooftop with us one night.

Another thing to do is the IFC theater. It isn far from the Financial district and they basically show late night, classic movies in a premium theater. Something to do instead of sitting in the crib late night if you don't want to go out and party.

That's exactly why I mentioned "preferences" in my post :mjpls:

Chelsea Cinemas got some nice ass seats on god...its a fukking sofa chair. The last two times I went there I fell asleep in that shyt :dead:.
