Compared to Vegeta, he ain't shyt. Earlier on Goku was pmsing about how he wasn't a true saiyan but rather a representative of earth and its ideals. When it came time to raise his damn children, he used that Saiyan-we-are-warriors card right quick.

King Vegeta made provision to protect Vegeta at all cost when he finally decided to usurp Freiza, in fact his reason for attacking Freiza was so Vegeta would have a future. Vegeta took care of Trunks and Bra, was a good husband and actually worked Goku is a PoS by any standards.

He's a Saiyan warrior whether he wants to act human or not. He wanted Gohan to become stronger like all Saiyans wont their kids to be.

Saiyans don't settle down and take it easy after they have kids. They train and fight because it what they do.

Goku wanted Gohan to be apart of that but Gohan wasn't about that life, so Goku said "fukk it, I guess I'll have to keep training in order to protect y'all weak asses".

I'd say Goku was a good "Saiyin" father, but yall are trying to compare him to some average joe human which hes not.

Vegeta stayed at home point blank period you can make up scenarios and say he was yelling at his kids however even though I don't count GT even in that they showed Vegeta spending QT with Trunks and Bra point blank Vegeta stayed Goku left
