Anyone else nearly vomit when they showed Recoome breaking Gohan's neck? I mean Toriyama had never really depicted anything so savage; it's a freaking thug putting a five year old in critical condition. No other enemy had ever brutalized a character so badly except maybe when Frieza blew Krillin into pieces (though Krillin was in his late 20s whereas Gohan is a kid).

If I were Goku, I would have turned Super Saiyan right there seeing my kid traumatized for life from having his spine and neck ripped up, leaving him paralyzed. In the Revenge of Cooler movie, Goku was so pissed off that a bird died that he turned Super Saiyan. I feel like this dude secretly harbors animosity against Gohan for cramping his lifestyle.
